I transmit to you herewith copies

of an Order of the King in Council approving

the Draft of Letters Patent amending the

Letters Patent of the 14th February, 1917,

constituting the Office of Governor and

Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong

and its Dependencies and providing for the

Government thereof, and I have to signify to

you His Lajesty's pleasure that you prepare

for His Majesty's signature a warrant to the

Lord High Chancellor authorising his to pass

Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the

Realm in the terms of the said Draft.
